Physiotherapy, also known as physical therapy, is  treatment provided to maintain, rehabilitate, and strengthen physical health and overall well-being through careful examination, diagnosis, and customized treatment plans. Typically these includes education, exercise, and hands-on treatments.

Physiotherapy can offer a range of treatments specific to helping specific goals or needs. These might include, improving and restoring movement and function, pain manage, reducing symptoms of conditions and diseases, as well as to help recover from and prevent injury.

All massages can be manipulated to suit each client. You can request that your therapist use soft or deep pressure. The massage therapist will also watch each client’s reaction to deep pressure, and will make adjustments accordingly. However, if your body isn’t used to stretching or acupressure, there can be some soreness after your massage. When the soreness subsides the next day, you will feel great and feel less tension.

You should wear clothing that is comfortable and can stretch easily.

Thai Massage, sometimes called Thai Yoga Massage, combines assisted yoga with acupressure techniques. The therapist will utilise yogic stretching movements, kneading and pressing muscles along the body’s energy lines with the hands and feet.

Tailored movements and techniques that are used to try to help an athlete’s body achieve maximum performance and physical conditioning, as well as  decreasing chance of injury and pain and helping with quicker recovery.
